30/04/2013: On-line registration system goes live

The online registration and accommodation booking system is now open. Early bird registration is available and on-campus accommodation are guaranteed to those who register before 1 July 2013.


25/04/2013: Paper submission deadline extended

Deadline for paper submission has been extended until Monday 13 May 2013.

Note: papers can be submitted regardless of whether an Expression of Interest has previously been submitted.


27/03/2013: Exhibition space still available

Four exhibitors at ICFR have been lined up so far. Exhibition space is still available in the Peter Chalk Centre.


20/03/2013: Young Author Prizes for best paper announced

The best young author prizes (£700 winner, £300 runner-up) will be awarded to presenters born in or after 1980.


12/03/2013: Registration fees set

ICFR registration fees have been announced. Thanks to the financial support by the sponsor ACO, the University of Exeter and the CORFU project, the fees are relatively low, and discounted fees and financial support will be offered to a limited number of presenting authors.


11/03/2013: Cultural visits organised

As an alternative to technical visits, social activities for ICFR participants and accompanying persons have been organised. These include Exeter Red Coat Guided Tours and the visit to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery.


11/03/2013: South West Water to host ICFR participants

South West Water Control Centre will host a visit by ICFR participants on 6 September late afternoon. This will be an alternative to the visit to the Flood Forecasting Centre.


08/03/2013: On-campus accommodation offered

High-standard accommodation is offered on campus – in Holland Hall – guaranteed to those who register before 1 July. There are many alternative places to stay in Exeter.

05/03/2013: Concert in memory of Erik Pasche

A concert to honour Professor Erik Pasche (1955-2010) will be held after the conference dinner on 6 September, in the open air with views over the Exe River Valley.

10/02/2013: Strong interest in ICFR

A large number of expressions of interest for all ICFR activities have been received, including three confirmed exhibitors.
